Contest, anyone?

So! Our group has grown quite a lot since it was started over a year and a half ago- more than 650 members and growing all the time! But one thing I've been wanting to do for a while now is get our members a little more active, and perhaps run a contest of some sort. What do you guys think? Does anyone have suggestions for a contest or theme, or would anyone like to donate any prizes?

Also, on the note of contests, don't forget that if you're running a contest, you can have it advertised here! The same goes for any members currently taking commissions, and any affiliate groups as well who'd like a little advertisement. And feedback is always welcomed! If you have any comments, suggestions, or complaints, we'd be glad to hear them and see what we can do.

Finally, I'm going to start putting links to some of our reference journals in the bottom of blog entries (since we're not a super group, we can't sticky important journals or utilize HTML journal skins).
